About Me
I have been sketching and painting since I was first able to hold a pencil. My passion and love for art and design lead me to architecture school. After graduating, I designed and worked on a range of projects everything from small residential homes to large scale high containment laboratories. I also led design workshops at various universities and institutions both in the U.S. and internationally.
Having lived in the DC metropolitan area most of my life, I had the chance to exhibit and sell my paintings and work at numerous galleries, I was also juried and exhibited by a group of national and international artists at the Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria, Virginia.
Although I work with oil, acrylic and other media, I am fascinated by the freedom and looseness that watercolor offers as a medium. I am intrigued by the "let's see what happens" element when working with watercolor.
